Round 4, Monday.
The rain was still coming down heavy and now running the the reverse way round the track to Sunday, we found loose sections
Heavy going but after a few set up changes the car felt good, we started the day with a strong 3rd place behind the two leading cars in the championship, the car felt great!
Heat 2 followed with another strong finish in 4th, we made the joker lap at the time, our pace was good having the fifth fastest time overall.
Heat 3 produced a great run again, with a front row start we crossed the line in forth place after making a small mistake on the last corner which cost us one place.
Semi final time came and with our pace so far during the day we felt quietly confident of making our first final, with a top four place needed we finished in 3rd place and made it through to our first ever final in the British rallycross championship.
So it was final time, we started on the second row on the outside of the track, we made the early decision to take the joker lap straight from the start, which allowed us to catch the leading four cars half way round the first lap, as each car carried out there joker laps we soon found ourselves in a strong 3rd position, as the laps came down we found ourselves enthralled in at battle for third place which unfortunately we lost out going onto the first loose section, so we finished 4th overall which was our best result of the year, We came away from Wales feeling very positive, thanks to all our sponsors for there continued support.
